This is me and my little guy Samuel. What a bundle of joy and sleepless nights.
I was born in Durban, South Africa in 1973. We lived in Durban until I was about 9. We then moved to Johannesburg where I spent most of my childhood and school life.

Made lots of friends, let see there is "in NO particular order:"
Philip, Richard, Hugh, Duane, Paul, Michael, Mark, Kean, Steven, Ian, Ivan and Conall to name a few.
All the boy have been great over the years, All have been drinking buddy's of note. Most of us have spread all over the world. From Australia to London, and me in Canada. There are still the few die hards left in S.A. though. I'm sure one day we will all get together and have a great big drinking spree weekend in some exotic place.
Any how after school I started working for a living. With a few breaks in between to study and dodge the SA military draft.
After working for a company called Compatible Information Systems for 3 years I decided it was time to spread my wings and fly to North America. I landed in Florida for a 1 month stop on my way to Canada. After living and working in Canada for a year or so, I met Heather. We seamed to hit it off from the very start, (she may say otherwise) and after only 1 year to the day we were married. We go married in Niagara Falls, Ontario on the 14th February 2000. Yes I know that is valentines day, the 1st one of the new millennium.

We soon bought a house and moved in in April 2000, buying a new house is one of the most frustrating things of all times to watch it grow and not to mention the haggling with the builders. It was completed and we love it now.

In November of 2000 our lives changed forever when we found out that Heather was pregnant and we would be having a little baby in our lives with in 9 months.

This meant change. 1st we had to sell our new mustang to buy a minivan to house all the kids and their stuff, so it was out with the new and in with the old. I traded the mustang in for a 2nd hand minivan. (what ya gona do?)

As the days grew shorter and then longer again Heather grew too.

Then on July 11th 2001 @ 2:18am our little Samuel was born. What a tiny little boy he was. Look at him grow...

What a cutie. I have many more photos where these came from. Check out the Florida 2002 holiday story for more greats or send me an email and I can send some to you.
Although our entire preoccupation has been with the baby, other good things have happened in the past 18 months.
My baby sister Candice moved to Canada.

My sister Tiffany Got pregnant too and had her baby Clair. Clair has made her and her husband Dave very happy. Clair was born exactly 1 month before Samuel on the 11th June 2001.

My dad and step mom Anne have been over to visit. We had a blast while they were here and can't wait to see them again.

And my mom moved to Canada this year 2002. It's great to have her so close. What a saving on the phone bill. :-)

I started a new job, I'm currently working for GE Disaster Recovery Services. The name is going to change soon as we were bought out by Generation Partners on Jan 1 2002. What a great company to work for, the people have been nothing but nice and accommodating.
And I finally updated the website...LOL
Any how that's me and my life in a nut shell.
